In this article we will show you how to use Qwatt to monitor and predict PPA prices.
Qwatt is a benchmark tool with daily updated PPA prices. We also calculate captured prices and give you indications on what the future may look like with price[it] forward curves.
You start with selecting the area of interest, select technology, the contract structure, the start year of the projects, combined with the start month, and lastly the duration of the PPA from the list on the top. You can select multiple options if you wish yo compare.
If you want to learn more about the different structures, you can click on the information button and a pop-up window will appear.
Based on the criteria you chose above, you will see the daily estimated PPA price. The daily change from yesterday, and the minimum and maximum price during the previous 12 months.
To see the history, you can click on the PPA price.
Here you can see history of the estimated PPA price for the previous 12 months.
You can also save this view to your watch list by clicking on the plus symbol to the right.
